Penny Pincher & Quick Fix – Water & Lemon

I’m hosting a jewelry party tonight and got out of work late… So, here’s a quick post to a quick fix and penny pinching idea. Stock up on sliced lemons, store them in a freezer bag and when you serve water they are ready to dress up your pitcher!

*UPDATE* As I was reminded by Joelen’s comment, I also will stash slices of other fruits such as grapes, oranges, and limes for an even more decorative and flavorful appeal. I was in such a rush posting earlier that I didn’t even think of it then! It’s great to add to a concoction of grape juice and ginger ale as I posted here. Thanks for the reminder Joelen!

  1. Great tip! I like adding slices of lemon, lime, oranges and/or cucumber to water for a little more refreshing flavor!

  2. I agree, cucumber is different and delicious!
